If you’ve ever had an Acai bowl then you know why they are all the rage. They’re delicious, especially with all those toppings added on. The first time I had one I was definitely in heaven…until I realized how many calories were in one. I’m not saying they aren’t good for you, I’m just saying they pack a ton of calories if you’re not careful. So, I decided to make my own and came up with this Trader Joe’s Easy Acai Bowl.
Trader Joe’s Easy Acai bowls are so refreshing and delicious! Not only are they diet friendly but they’re also budget friendly. Those Acai bowls can get pretty pricey, especially if you’re addicted to them and buying one daily. Between Acai bowls and coffee how does anyone afford anything else! Ha, I’m kidding but really, they’re not cheap.
For these, I added some of my favorite protein powder from Dymatize and some Stevia drops to sweeten the Acai. You’ll definitely need to add something to sweeten these packets and the flavor drops and protein powder did the trick!
You literally just put the ingredients into the blender, blend until smooth, and pour into a bowl. The next step is the best step. Toppings! Top them with your favorite goodies and enjoy.
