The holidays are upon us and everyone is running around trying to find the perfect gifts for all of their friends and family. This year I have done most of my shopping online and have had it conveniently delivered to my doorstep. It’s been pretty awesome actually. I’ve saved time, money, and a whole lot of stress! I put together a list of my favorite kitchen items that are perfect for the at home cook and/or foodie! Is there anything else I should add to The Foodies Gift Guide? Let me know!
Here are some of my favorite things that I’ve acquired for the kitchen this year. If you have someone that loves to cook then this is a great list to take a look at. Not only do I personally own all of these items but I absolutely love them and use them all the time.
Whenever I am gifting something to someone, I try to make it something that I know they are going to get good use out of and they are going to love. I try not to just give gifts to give them but really put some thought into how much they’ll be used or loved.
So, here goes!
The Foodies Gift Guide
I originally had a 3.5 quart air fryer by Kalorik, which I absolutely love and still own. I upgraded to the larger air fryer because I was using it so much for so many different things that having a larger one made more sense. The air fryer has been one of my favorite kitchen additions because it’s so easy to use, clean, and everything tastes amazing. I highly recommend getting one!
I have been eyeing one of these for years now and never wanted to spend the money on one. Well, this year I finally did and I 100% regret not getting one years ago. Not only is it easy to use and clean but it cuts my time in the kitchen by at least half. I cannot believe I waited this long. I don’t miss the self mixing one bit! I’ve made all sorts of things in my KitchenAid and all I do is think about what I’m going to make next. Love, love, love this thing! I opted for the tilt-head version and I’m very happy that I did. I find it easier to use than the non tilt-head.
I grabbed one of these little guys on sale recently and we are having so much fun with it. Mini waffles have been a breakfast staple ever since this purchase. Waffles come out great in it, it’s easy to clean, and storage is easy too since it’s so small! My kids love it and so do I!
This Dash product was originally marketed as a quesadilla maker and then renamed as a griddle. This thing is awesome! I make pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, and all sorts of other things in this. I also love it for reheating certain foods because it heats it from both the top and the bottom evenly reheating my food. It also does it quickly and clean up is easy with the non-stick surface.
The Scrub Daddy is awesome! This little guy cleans everything like a champ, doesn’t hold the smell of foods, and doesn’t scrape the non-stick surface of many pots and pans. Not only that but it’s super adorable. Everyone that sees it asks about it. I bought an extra one that I keep near the produce I buy. It works great for washing my vegetables that need a little extra attention like my squash. It works great for getting that dirt off of these types of fruits and vegetable. I know, it’s weird but it works!
The Instant Pot has held a special place in my kitchen since we bought it. This thing does pretty much EVERYTHING! I haven’t even used it for everything it does and I just keep learning about more and more things that I can make with it. It’s great when you’re in a pinch for time. The pressure cook option has saved me a bunch of times. It’s an all-in-one kitchen item that is worth every penny. Luckily I got it on sale!
I’ve bought a few of the Keurig coffee makers and although they are great, they always seem to just die on my randomly. I bought this one for much less and to be honest, it tops the Keurig in my opinion. It always brews a great, hot cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and takes up much less counter space than the Keurig. Not only that but it comes with the option to brew regular ground coffee or K-Cups. This makes me happy because although K-Cups are convenient, I like the taste of regular ground coffee much better.
These are an absolute GAME CHANGER if you love to bake. Absolutely nothing sticks to them so all of your baked goods come right off without a problem. I’ve been using these mats when I bake my meatballs as well and they’re just so easy to take off. The mats are durable, easy to clean, and inexpensive. Lately I have been seeing them in all different sizes to fit any baking sheet.
I use this little guy when I don’t need to use a large kitchen appliance. It whips or blends things quickly, is easy to clean, and very light weight. It makes life in the kitchen a breeze and speeds up my prep times for sure.
Cookie dough scoops are great for so many other things other than scooping cookie dough! This guy makes perfectly sized meatballs or cookies of course. Not just that but I also use it for mini ice cream scoops. Not sure why but I’d rather have 3 mini scoops that one large one. These come in a few different sized but this has to be the one I use the most.
My lattes have not been the same since I purchased this. In just a few seconds you’ve got yourself a beautiful and tasty latte made at home for a fraction of the cost. With a quick rinse of the frother, your clean up is all done. This little guy is inexpensive and worth every penny when you think about how much money you are saving in comparison to a coffee shop latte. Makes a great stocking stuffer too!
Did I miss anything that should be added to the list? Let me know!
