I have a massive sweet tooth which at times is totally out of control. I love making healthy versions of things to satiate that side of me. This year I ordered the much hyped PEScience White Chocolate Mint protein powder even though I’m usually a Birthday Cake or Chocolate flavor type of girl. I figured if I didn’t care much for it I’d give it to someone and call it a day. Well, this stuff is just as good as everyone says it is! It’s delicious!! This Peppermint Yogurt Bark was so good that I made another batch immediately after finishing the first one.
Peppermint is everywhere during the holidays. In fact, M&M’s came out with Peppermint flavored candy so I decided to crush up about half a serving of these and sprinkle them on top of the yogurt bark. I only used the red colored M&M’s because I figured the white ones wouldn’t add much color so might as well go all red. It turned out so pretty! So festive and bright!
What’s the best thing about Peppermint Yogurt Bark? Well, besides that it was kind of fun to make. Sign me up to crush M&M’s anytime! No! The best thing about it is that it tastes like dessert but it’s a much healthier! It totally took care of my sweet tooth but for much less calories than regular peppermint bark. It was just what I needed, had some holiday flavor, and was quick and easy to make! Pretty much three of my favorite things right there!Print
Peppermint Yogurt Bark
Delicious Peppermint Yogurt Bark that tastes like dessert but is packed full of protein!
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 1 hour
- Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
- Yield: 8
- Category: Dessert
- Method: Frozen
- Cuisine: American
1 cup Fage Nonfat Greek Yogurt
1 scoop PEScience White Chocolate Mint protein
1/2 serving of RED Peppermint M&M’s, crushed
- Mix the Greek yogurt and protein together
- Spread mixture over parchment lined tray
- Sprinkle crushed M&M’s on top and lightly push down into the yogurt/protein mixture
- Freeze for about and hour or until hard.
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
This isn’t like your typical chocolate bark so the yogurt will start to melt once you take it out of the freezer. I break it into chunks and then leave it in a small container in the freezer and grab a piece when I’m ready to eat it.
You can throw other mint or peppermint flavored items on top if you don’t have the M&M’s. Regular chocolate chips will work great too. Pretty much anything that works with that flavor will go great.
