The flavors in this Low Carb Cheeseburger Casserole are so good that you won’t even miss the buns!
1 package of 93% lean ground turkey
1 small onion (approximately 100 grams), chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp hamburger seasoning (or to taste)
2 tbsp low sugar ketchup
2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp fat free cream cheese
4 slices beefsteak tomato (optional)
2 oz Velveeta shreds
1 oz hamburger dill pickle chips (optional)
This recipe can be made with your favorite hamburger toppings and served with french fries, waffle fries, in hamburger buns, or whichever way you like to eat your burgers.
Although I usually just throw sliced tomatoes on top for convenience, I think that dicing them up first will make the dish easier to eat with the waffle fries next time. It you’re going to throw this between a couple hamburger buns, then that won’t be an issue at all.
